Deepwater Online

Deepwater Online identifies all fields which are in production or being planned or considered for development in water depths of 300 metres and greater. It looks at developments that are planned for the current year and then those for the next four years. 60-100 Billion Barrels of Oil Equivalent is expected to be recoverable.

The last great frontier of exploration; as large a reserve as large as a Middle Eastern country such as Kuwait the UAE or Iraq. Over the last five years the majors have divested themselves of their aging shallow water assets and put their money and research into deepwater exploration and development, and one can see why using Infield’s deepwater online database.
