"Rediscovering the Future at Offshore Europe 07"

Offshore Europe 2007 (OE07) will take place in Aberdeen from 4th to the 7th September 07. Infield Systems Limited has booked extended space based on the success of the show in 2005. At OE07 Infield will be demonstrating the Infield Database, Online Systems,Mapping Systems, Global Perspective and Regional Perspective Publications, Analytical services and other products.

This key Offshore Oil and Gas exhibition, which following their return in 2001, features the major operating companies is expected to be more successful than the record breaking show in 2005. Shell E&P, and TotalFinaElf are expected to be there and other operators and major companies are expected to follow.

The Offshore Europe show in 2005 attracted more than the record 26,300 individual visitors of 2003 with more than 25% being representatives from outside Europe. This marked another significant increase in the international nature of the event. 104 Countries and 1400 companies participated in the 2005 show. Many contracts were announced or signed at the show making this a key event in the offshore oil and gas calendar.

Theme for Offshore Europe for 07 is:

"Rediscovering the Future" .

The theme will highlight the traditional but always increasing challenges facing the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. These challenges are cost, safety, the environment, technology, resourcing and competiveness. There will be a focus on recruitment and retention of valuable staff. As of April 07 most of the Offshore Europe 2005 Exhibition space is expected to be sold out.

The technical sessions, for which submissions have been requested, will cover the full range of upstream segments from formation evaluation and reservoir engineering to drilling, completions and production engineering. The Offshore Europe 2007 programme will feature some of the industries most influential speakers.

In April 2005 it was announced that Andrew Gould, Chairman and CEO of Schlumberger, had accepted the role of Chairman of OE2005, This came on the back of confirmed attendance from key companies such as Shell EP, Total E&P UK Plc, Saudi Aramco, Halliburton, Schlumberger, FMC and The Wood Group. The Offshore Europe 07 partnership are delighted to announce that the OE07 Chairman is Mark Carne  of the BG Group.

It is expected following the success of OTC 2007 and DOT 2006 and ONS 2006 that Offshore Europe 07 will be bigger and better than ever. The conference programme has now been finalised and draws to draw key experts and senior personnel from the industry.

Infield will be on stand 531 demonstrating the Infield Offshore Energy Database, OFFPEX , Match and Track, Online Systems and the new Infield Energy Gateway and other products at OE07.

Infield will also have the full range of it's current Global Perspectives publications available for review with the 2008-2012 editions going to press through the later part of this year. The new Offshore Energy Research and LNG publications are also due for release. Infield's Analytical services team and Authors will be available for discussions on these publications and on how they can assist you with Market information, strategy, due diligence and other matters relating to the Energy Industry.
