Infield Systems Limited are pleased to announce their participation at this week's conference on Infrastructure Development in the Emerging Oil and Gas Industry of Mozambique which is being held at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July.
His Excellency, Armando Emilio Guebuza, President of the Republic of Mozambique will make the keynote address at the conference, which is co-hosted by Aberdeen City Council and the High Commission of the Republic of Mozambique.

South & East Africa Market Highlights
The South and East African region is seen as one of the most potentially exciting areas for future offshore development. East Africa gas discoveries now surpass the reserve-base of the offshore UK. Following a series of significant gas discoveries the future prospects for Mozambique's offshore market, particularly for LNG supplies, have improved substantially. Between 2013 and 2018, Infield Systems expects significant levels of capital expenditure to take place on a number of fields, including the Anadarko Prosperidade field complex and Eni's Mamba North and South prospects.
With offshore resources concentrated in tow main sedimentary basins, the Rovuma Basin located close to the Tanzanian border to the north-east and the Mozambique Basin to the south. The Rovuma offshore area 1 has been the main source of recent discoveries, whilst ENI's giant find at its Mamba South 1 prospect, Area 4 in October 2011, was the largest operated discovery in the company's exploration history.
Within the Andarko-operated Area 1, several successful exploration wells have also been drilled, with the operator now considering the area to be one of its most important natural gas fields discovered over the last decade.
