Alexandre Gater, Transaction Services for Infield Systems, will be presenting an update on the Gulf of Mexico and North Sea market trends at this year’s annual first morning session. It is designed to show UK firms the current opportunities and trends in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as any relevant parallels or comparisons with the North Sea, thereby providing a comprehensive overview of the potential business in this part of the world. The breakfast session will be attended by approximately 150 energy sector representatives (US and UK) and has been organised in part by the UKTI.

The event is sponsored by BP and the Aberdeen City Council and will take place on Monday 6th May at 07:30hrs in the Hilton Post Oak.

Gregory Brown, a consultant for Infield Systems will be presenting an overview of the global subsea market for NCE Subsea on Tuesday 7th May. The NCE Subsea Breakfast Seminar is an annual event during OTC in Houston. The aim is to highlight and promote subsea projects and activities between the Norwegian Continental Shelf and Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the seminar provides information on market trends and future solutions for subsea technologies.

In a wide reaching presentation, Mr Brown will discuss market trends within the evolving subsea space and highlight key opportunities for oilfield service providers. As well as providing a global outlook, Mr Brown will highlight trends specific to the North Sea and discuss how new technology is opening up frontier plays within the region; helping to offset the inevitable reduction in production.
