Infield Systems have added a unique new module to their Offshore Energy database. Looking beyond the nameplate operators Infield is now tracking all the owners and the proportion of offshore fields held worldwide.

The amount of data we provide from the databases is completely flexible with the purchase price being directly linked to the volume of data. We are always willing to work with companies to create customised databases or data sets with the parameters set by the client. Thus a database or data set could be created to fill the following request if for example a client was interested in pipelines.

"I am searching for rigid pipelines which are being planned or considered for lay in Australia in 2002 and 2003 which are 16" in diameter or less, longer than 1km and which are being used as subsea tie backs."

This type of request can be made for any number of the twelve Infield files i.e.: platforms, subsea completions, etc.

The information requested can involve any number of the twelve Infield files and might be delimited by geographical regions, countries, time frames or subject topics.

The system is completely flexible minimizing the cost

Information is provided in the format best suited to the client's existing software packages and can often be with a client within the hour via e-mail.

Most Infield clients keep up-to-date with the latest developments with our updating service. However we also provide one-off data sales for clients who may be preparing presentations reports or undertaking research or strategic reviews of the industry.

Price flexibility

Any quoted purchase price would include one year of quarterly updates keeping you informed of the latest developments. We also offer a lease purchase option which spreads the payment of the purchase price and the cost of three years of quarterly updates into four equal amounts payable over four years.

Updating;
As the Infield database is being continually updated and improved we offer clients a quarterly updating service the first year of which comes free. More frequent updates are available if required. Each update is a full set of the data so access to previous updates is not necessary. All records in the update are marked with a "first entered date" and a "last update date" so that clients can immediately identify the contemporary data. This is important as some databases consist of many thousand records.

In addition when a client is carrying out particularly important projects we will supply an extra new update upon request. We do not usually charge for this service.

Clients can add their own data or files to their Infield database or incorporate it into their own in-house database or Intranet. The updating service is provided in a form which will not corrupt the client's own data.

Software Requirements;
Infield supply data in a format compatible with a clients own software, so that they can start using Infield immediately with a software program with which they are familiar. Formats can be Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, CSV, DataEase for DOS and Windows, Lotus 1-2-3, , , Paradox, DBase III & IV, ASCII text etc..
