Offshore Europe (2003) 2nd - 5th September 2003

Offshore Europe 2003 will take place in Aberdeen from 2-5th September 2003. Infield Systems Limited will be demonstrating the Infield Database, Online Systems and other products on STAND 531.

This key Offshore Oil and Gas exhibition, which following their return in 2001, features the major operating companies is expected to be more successful than ever. BP, Shell E&P, and TotalFinaElf are already booked and other operators are expected to follow.

The Offshore Europe show in 2001 attracted more than 24,500 individual visitors with 34% being representatives from outside Europe. This marked another significant increase in the international nature of the event. 72 Countries and 1600 companies participated in the 2001 show.

Theme for Offshore Europe for 2003 follows the traditional but always increasing challenges facing the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. These are cost, safety, the environment, technology, resourcing and competiveness. There will be a focus on leadership issues between companies and stakeholders. The slogan for Offshore Europe 2003 is "Raising the Game: Leadership, behaviour, and technology in mature basins".

The technical sessions, for which submissions closed on 17th January 2003, will cover the full range of upstream segments from formation evaluation and reservoir engineering to drilling, completions and production engineering. The Offshore Europe 2003 programme features some of the industries most influential speakers.

It is expected following the success of OTC 2002/3, DOT02 and ONS 2002 that Offshore Europe 2003 will be bigger and better than ever. The conference programme has yet to be finalised but is expected to draw experts from the industry.
