Offshore Europe Online identifies
all fields which are being planned or considered for development
offshore Europe, including the Eastern Europe, the Former Soviet
Union (Excluding the Caspian Sea and Sakhalin), the North West European
Continental Shelf and Southern Europe. It includes all shallow water
as well as the deep and ultra-deepwater projects. It looks at developments
that are planned for the current year and then those for four years
hence.
The UK is at a crossroads-there are opportunities for future
investment but Norway is about a decade behind the UK in the development
cycle. In both Denmark and the Netherlands there is a steady stream
of small developments incremental to the existing facilities.
