Offshore Latin America Database
Offshore Latin America Online identifies all fields which are being planned or considered for development offshore Latin America, including Central America and South America. It includes all shallow water as well as the deep and ultra-deepwater projects. It looks at developments that are planned for the current year and then those for four years hence.
In deepwater Brazil there has been a rush of new finds and developments over the last few years. There have been discoveries in shallow water in the region, including oil in Venezuela. There have also been discoveries of gas in shallow water in Trinidad, and BP, BG and EOG are to feed the increasingly growing Atlantic LNG project 4th train on shortly.
