"Bridging the Energy Gap" Theme for ONS 2006
Offshore Northern Seas 2006 will be held
in Stavanger (ONS 2006) from August 22th to 25th. The Offshore Northern
Seas Show in 2004 was very successful with 33,000 visitors, over 1,200
Exhibitors, 900 plus delegates and several thousand of the local population
joining in many events. The show in 2004 saw the 30th ONS and was, as anticipated, very well attended with many special events
marking the 30th Anniversary.
High oil prices, great optimism in the industry and heavy investment spending are all set to boost demand for stand space at the Offshore Northern Seas show from 22-25 August 2006.

As an indication of the growing importance of
this well established Conference and Exhibition key people from
Houston, the Opec Secretary-General, and the Norwegian Prime Minister
are all to attend ONS 2006. Infield Systems will be exhibiting at
ONS 2006.
It is planned for HM King Harald V of Norway to open Offshore Northern
Seas 2006 as the Royal patron of ONS.

In addition the organising committee is putting in great effort to ensure an equally strong and balanced programme for all four days. The Norwegian Prime Minister has been invited to start ONS with an energy policy speech.
The Exhibition will reflect the international focus on energy and the environment and the challenges facing the industry.
ONS 2006 will continue the trend of addressing topical issues and an exciting Conference and Exhibition will take place in Stavanger.
The prestigious ONS innovation awards have been reshaped for the 2006 show by splitting the former Innovation Award into separate prizes for innovatory products and processes.
