Subsea UK'S Manufacturing for Subsea in the North West conference and exhibition will take place at the Runway Visitor Park, Concorde Conference Centre in Manchester in November. The North West of England has Britain's most successful manufacturing sector. Subsea UK's Manufacturing for Subsea event will focus on the opportunities for companies in the North West in the subsea sector both nationally and internationally. Subsea UK will publish the complete conference programme on its website, however, confirmed speakers include Infield Systems, Apache North Sea, the Technology Strategy Board and Sonomatic. There will also be a small exhibition area and the opportunity to network over lunch and coffee or set up one-to-one meetings.
Infield Systems presentation will review current market opportunities in the North Sea subsea sector. We will begin with a short overview of the macroeconomic environment and focus on the prospects for the offshore oil and gas industry. This will be followed by key drivers of the global subsea market, namely industry trends relating to the water depth and tieback distance of oil and gas production. Infield Systems will then review subsea market trends in the North Sea over the next five years, including a detailed forecast of subsea tree installations and capital expenditure by country, operator and water depth. Drivers behind specific regional developments and key projects will be highlighted. Additionally, Infield Systems will cover challenges and opportunities for these regional markets in terms of manufacturing capacity.
