DOT 2009 (Deep Offshore Technology 2009) New Orleans, Louisiana 3rd to 5th February 2009.

DOT 2009 has "GO Deep" as the theme for 20098. DOT 2009 is the 22nd Deep Offshore Technology Exhibition and Conference and returns to New Orelans for the first time since the damaging hurricanes. It is expected that Deep Offshore Technology 2009 will be well a attended Deep Offshore Technology Exhibition with many attendees. DOT 2009 will see thousands of industry professionals attending the Louisianna. The theme for this year encompasses key challenges facing the deepwater industry – safely and successfully managing risks, completing projects on time and under budget with limited resources, and assuring profitability in the face of the credit crunch, increasing costs, falling oil price and difficult operating environments.

DOT 2009 in will focus attention on those projects which best illustrate the technology and the skills needed to conquer the offshore ultradeep challenges. Deep Offshore Technology 2009 will see papers from the most qualified individuals in the deepwater oil and gas industry. These will see presentations on subsea processing or seafloor processing, HP/HT, and completion design in deepwater. The latest forecasts for Deep and Ultra-deepwater will be presented by Infield Systems' Analytical Services Director. A number of top-level case studies will be presented on deepwater's most outstanding projects.

Individuals will travel from all over the world to to see the next generation of offshore technology and innovation in the Oil & Gas industry and to hear and learn from the experiences of other companies within the industry.


 

The first of a pair of Deep offshore Technology conferences for 2009 will have Todd Stevens, Senior Project Manager, Nigeria Deepwater, from ExxonMobil Development Company as Chairman of the advisory Board. A broad range of delegates and speakers will see presentations focused on World Deepwater developments and technologies.
